                                                - In vehicles with diesel engine the auxiliary/additional

heating is switched on as an auxiliary heater regardless of the adaption

if the front operating and display unit

-J255 of the air conditioner requested additional heating power over the

                                                data bus system.

                                                - Adaption "0" (factory setting)

is not to be switched on as additional heating.

                                                - Adaption "1"

This adaption can be performed at the request of the customer in

                                                vehicles with petrol engines.

The auxiliary heater switched on as additional heating

if the front operating and display unit

-J255 of the air conditioner requested additional heating power over the

                                                data bus system.

                                                switched on at maximum delivery.

The control unit -J364 switches the recirculation pump -V55

on if a request is received over the data bus

(to assist the coolant pump of the

engine and the pump in the pump valve unit,

thereby improving the coolant throughput through the heat exchangers

of the AC unit and thus the heating power output).

"077" has been selected (e.g. to check the delivery rate of the

metering pump -V54), the readout may change from e.g. "250"

                                                back to "0".

In the case of a replacement control unit -J364 a

value greater than "0" may be displayed. Change the adaption
