Reading measured value block

When the ignition is switched on the following input signal for terminal 15 is generated by the Group convenience system data bus in the onboard power supply control unit -J519:

Measured value block 013:

Display zone 2:

Terminal 15 (off/on/no communication)

Basic setting

Procedure:

After replacing the vehicle voltage control unit -J519, the steering column adjustment mechanism and steering column adjustment components*, a basic setting of the two steering column adjuster motors -V123 (vertical) and -V124 (horizontal) must be carried out.

To do so, choose the basic setting function 04 and then channel 001 and activate the basic setting.

* When replacing the steering column adjuster or components of it, be sure to approach its four end positions (up, down, forward and back) with the steering column adjustment switch -E167  before performing the basic setting.
