Issue:
The MMI battery meter constantly shows the battery to be at 10%, sometimes it can go up, but eventually comes down again, causing the MMI to give battery management warnings in the MMI display
In some instances it does actually affect the battery status leading to starting problems, though in most cases the warning is in error and the battery remains fine.
Technical Background
The Battery is discharging due to a closed circuit current problem or software fault in the Battery Energy Manager (BEM) module.
